A wood vertical blind is a wrap which envelopes a window or a door. In general it is adhered to the internal part of a window or a door.

A mini blind is form of this Venetian blind. It is a miniature version of the Venetian blind. It comprises of tapered slats. There are solid
blinds which do not allow light to enter. They are kept by rolling or folding up. This kind of a blind is called a window shade.

Sometimes wood blinds are made up of a special kind of a wood from a tree called linden tree. This tree is mainly found in the regions of
North America, Europe, Mexico and Asia. Bass wood comes out of the lumbar of this tree. Bass wood is has a unique quality that is its strength
and sturdy irrespective of being weightless and soft-grained. This special feature makes them bear abrasion of daily life.
Obscurity and tinge is elicited by the resonant disposition of brass wood. For radiance and innate tarnish aspen is used to provide a
homogenous shade. A leveled and resilient conclusion is presented by poplar.
How does it work?
The blind is rotated by a connecter which is attached to a string. Traditionally it is pulled up and down by a cord. Owing to advancement in
technology, at this present time, motorized connectors have come into existence.
Wood vertical blinds give a new definition to the room. Along with this it protects against sunlight and heat. Also it enhances the décor of a
room as well. They are still the supplest management for sliding doors and windows!
